Abstinence Tracker: Day Count (“Abstinence Tracker,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Celibate, LLC.
This Privacy Policy explains how the App accesses, uses, stores, and shares information.
1. Information you provide
The App allows you to enter information including:
- The activity or behavior you are abstaining from
- Your streak start date and goals
- Daily check-ins
- Mood and urge selections
- Personal notes and reasons
- Streak and reset history
- Milestones, achievements, and personal rewards
- Reminder preferences
This tracker information is stored locally on your device. Celibate, LLC does not receive this information unless a future feature clearly asks you to submit or synchronize it.
Some of this information may be personal or sensitive. We recommend protecting your device with a passcode, biometric authentication, or other available security features.
2. Analytics information
We may use third-party analytics services to understand how the App is used, diagnose problems, measure performance, and improve its features.
Analytics information may include:
- App launches and session activity
- Features and screens used
- Button interactions and general usage events
- App version and operating-system version
- Device type, language, and general region
- Performance and diagnostic information
- Crash reports
- Advertising or app-instance identifiers
- Approximate location inferred from an IP address
We do not intend to send the contents of your private notes, tracker type, check-ins, abstinence history, or personal rewards to analytics providers.
Our analytics providers may process technical information according to their own privacy policies.

3. Advertising
The App may display advertisements provided by Celibate, LLC or third-party advertising partners.
Advertising partners may automatically receive or process information such as:
- IP address
- Device and advertising identifiers
- Device type and operating system
- App version
- General or approximate location
- Advertisement impressions, clicks, and interactions
- Information used to limit advertisement frequency
- Information used to measure advertising performance
- Consent and privacy-preference signals
Depending on your consent, device settings, location, and applicable law, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized.
Where required, we will request permission before using information for tracking or personalized advertising. You can also manage advertising permissions through your device settings.
We do not provide advertising partners with the contents of your private notes, check-ins, tracker type, streak history, reasons, or personal rewards.

4. Static advertisement and external links
The App may display a static advertisement for Celibate, a dating service operated by or associated with Celibate, LLC.
Selecting this advertisement may open:

Opening this or another external link may allow the destination website, redirect provider, app marketplace, or installed external app to receive technical information such as your IP address, device details, browser information, and referral information.
External platforms and services may operate under their own privacy policies.
5. How we use information
Information collected through analytics or advertising services may be used to:
- Operate and maintain the App
- Understand how features are used
- Diagnose crashes and technical problems
- Improve performance and usability
- Measure advertising impressions and engagement
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Display and evaluate advertisements
- Comply with legal obligations
- Enforce our terms and protect our rights
We will not use the contents of locally stored tracker entries for advertising personalization.
6. Notifications
With your permission, the App may schedule local notifications for daily check-ins, reminders, and milestones.
These notifications are generated and scheduled on your device. Your private tracker information is not sent to an advertising or analytics provider to schedule these notifications.
You can disable notifications through the App or your device settings.
7. Backups and sharing
The App allows you to create a backup containing your tracker settings, check-ins, notes, streak history, milestones, and rewards.
Backups are created only when you request them. When you export a backup, it may be provided to an app or service you select through your device’s sharing interface, such as email, messaging, file storage, or cloud storage.
Exported backup files may contain sensitive information and may not be encrypted. You are responsible for storing them securely. Once you share a backup with another service, that service’s privacy policy applies.
When restoring a backup, the App accesses only the file you select.
The App may also let you share achievement images. Nothing is shared unless you initiate the action and select a destination.
8. Permissions
Depending on the features you use, the App may request:
- Notifications: To display reminders and milestone notifications.
- Files: To import a backup file you select.
- Sharing access: To export backups or share achievements.
- Tracking permission on iOS: If required for personalized advertising or cross-app measurement.
You may deny or withdraw permissions through your device settings. Some related features may not function after permission is withdrawn.
9. When information may be shared
We may share analytics, advertising, or technical information with:
- Analytics and crash-reporting providers
- Advertising and attribution providers
- Service providers supporting App operations
- Government authorities when legally required
- Professional advisers when necessary to protect legal rights
- A successor organization involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets
We do not sell private tracker entries, notes, check-ins, or streak history.
Certain privacy laws may define personalized advertising or the disclosure of device identifiers as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, we will provide required notices and choices.
10. Data retention
Private tracker information remains on your device until you:
- Edit or delete it;
- Use Delete All Data;
- Clear the App’s storage; or
- Uninstall the App.
Analytics and advertising providers may retain technical information according to their respective policies and retention schedules.
Deleting App data does not delete backups or achievement images you previously exported. You must delete those separately from wherever they were saved.
Because Celibate, LLC does not normally receive your locally stored tracker information, we ordinarily cannot retrieve or delete that information for you.
11. Your privacy choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning personal information processed by Celibate, LLC, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, or information about applicable disclosures.
You may also:
- Disable notifications
- Decline tracking permission
- Reset or restrict your device’s advertising identifier
- Use non-personalized advertising when available
- Delete locally stored tracker information
- Contact us regarding a privacy request

12. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.
However, no device, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure. The security of locally stored information also depends on your device, operating system, backups, and the external services you choose to use.
13. Children’s privacy
Abstinence Tracker is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required to consent to digital services in their jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that information has been collected from a child contrary to applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

14. International data processing
Advertising, analytics, and technical information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required, Celibate, LLC and its providers will use appropriate protections for international transfers of personal information.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its service providers, or legal requirements change.
